First appointment

So today was our first prenatal appointment. It went ok. I am also worry a lot. So I probably just look into stuff too much. I am supposed to be 7 weeks, but the baby is measuring 5 weeks and 2 days. I have to go to get HCG levels checked on Friday and then again next week (just to make sure the numbers are going up like they are supposed to). We are hoping for good news. During the ultrasound he did detect a faint heartbeat (which at 5 weeks is really good). I did have the same problem with Collin, but I was seeing a different doctor and he was not concerned about it and did not have my levels checked. As long as all the tests come out fine we will have another appointment February 17th and hopefully he will do another ultrasound so we can see our little peanut.

Big Brother

We are so excited to tell everyone that Collin is going to be a big brother. We found out January 5th. I have my first prenatel visit January 20th. I am excited to update everyone as we move along in the pregnancy.

Snow day

We enjoyed the snow storm today. Riley woke up with a fever and stomach ache. After we got some medicine in him he started feeling better and we were able to go out and enjoy the snow. Collin is pretty cold natured and so he was not able to stay out for long. We went out two different times to enjoy the snow. We made snow angels and enjoyed some sledding. We tried to make a snow man, but the snow is so powdery that it would not work for our snow man. We have enjoyed sitting in our pajamas all day and watching movies and enjoying some junk food.
